Wordless Wednesday: Gerbil Farming?

Okay, no, I have words.

I don't know what the hell this book is about, although I suspect is about gerbil farming. My mom bought it for me without telling me and it just showed up on my porch one night. And I laughed and laughed and laughed.

I can't wait to read it.

Okay, this made me giggle...is this some sort of comic spoof of The Memory Keeper's Daughter.

And now I must ask the question to which I should but do not know the answer, which my son asks whenever he looks over my shoulder at your blog:

"Life. Autism. Gerbils. Why gerbils???"

Inquiring minds want to know.

How wonderful! I hope it's a good book! But I am a bit worried about why people might farm gerbils. NZ is a farming country, so milk, meat and wool immediately spring to mind. I don't think the fur would be economic (little demand), and the other two possibilities are just disturbing. Hopefully it's for the pet market.

I read a review about that particular book, and it was deemed very good. It's about a Marine whose secret is that he farms gerbils in his garage! I so want to read it too! Hope you enjoy it!
